Mark Updates WSM.com on what he has been up to Since Malta

Since getting back from WSM Malta. I was straight into training for Strongman Champions league Wembley, where I placed 2nd after Zadrunus. Then onto Strongman Champions league Final in Kiev where I placed 6th and in the final placings 11th after only two competitions. I will be looking on moving further up next year.

I took part in my first powerlifting competition with the IPF. Wasn’t sure what to expect or what I would even be lifting. My coach Alan Fairclough gave me 9 weights and I completed them all. I broke the British Record for the deadlift. My next competition will be in April when I am planning on taking on Brad Gillingham’s world record.

Myself, Terry, Laurence & Jimmy took part in the Winter Giant’s competition in Lancashire in Dec, something we have organized ourselves. To a sell out crowd of 400 plus all for a bit of fun. Mark took the title of Winter Giant 2009.
