BIG Z (Zydrunas Savickas)

The Most Consistent Strongman of All Time, 39-year-old Big Z has aged like a fine wine. Growing older has made him wiser, and most importantly – STRONGER!

Lithuania’s pride and joy is a 4X World’s Strongest Man winner, and since 2002, has never finished below 2nd place when competed. Combined, he holds more Top-3 places than any other competitor ever, including legendary WSM Hall of Fame members Jon Pall Sigmarsson and Mariusz Pudzianowski.

Recently, Zydrunas Savickas set the World Record Log Lift (overhead press) at 228kg (503lbs), during the Arnold Classic Brasil. It’s not his first record, and he’s determined not to let it be his last.

THOR (Hafthor Julius Bjornsson)

You may already know him as “The Mountain” from HBO’s Game of Thrones, but you will soon learn to recognize him as Thor, one of the strongest men on Earth.

Hafthor Bjornsson is a young man at 26-years-old, and judging by his past – his future is bright! Iceland’s Strongest Man for four years running, he follows in the footsteps of World’s Strongest Man greats Magnus Ver Magnusson and Jon Pall Sigmarsson.

After four finishes in the Top-3, he’ll look to earn his first victory over Zydrunas Savickas.

THE GIANT (Brian Shaw)

At 6-foot-8 (2.03m), 434lbs (197kg), it does not take a vivid imagination to see why he’s named The Giant from Aurora, Colorado, USA.

Brian Shaw is a massive man with strength to match. The only current WSM athlete to defeat Big Z, he is ranked #2 in the world among strongmen. This year, he’ll work to hold Savickas back in second place, in an attempt to earn his 3rd WSM Championship.

DEADLIFT KING (Eddie Hall)

Eddie Hall finished 6th in the 2014 World’s Strongest Man competition, but after a tremendous World Record setting deadlift at the Arnold Classic in Australia, he’s expected to improve to a Top-5 placement.

Succeeding to lift 462kg (72-stone+) (1018.5lbs) in front of the Terminator, himself, UK’s Eddie Hall earned a spot in the history books, and a whole lot of well-deserved popularity.

THE ELDER (Mike Burke)
