Myrtle Beach, S.C. (December 8, 2023) – IMG today announced the 47th World’s Strongest Man (WSM) competition will return to Myrtle Beach, South Carolina from May 1-5, 2024. In partnership with Visit Myrtle Beach, next year’s competition will offer reserved general admission seating to enhance the fan experience and a consolidated center stage for the four-day, action-packed competition. The fan festival area will remain free and open to the public, and include food trucks, giveaways and a viewing area for the general public.
The World’s Strongest Man competition will once again take place at the Oceanfront at Burroughs & Chapin Pavilion Place, following a four-day schedule that includes two days of qualifiers and a two-day final. The world’s elite strongmen will be pushed to their physical and mental limits with an epic series of events.

Past competitors include defending World’s Strongest Man champion Mitchell Hooper (CAN), two-time champion Tom Stoltman (GBR) and his older brother Luke Stoltman (GBR), Evan “T-Rex” Singleton (USA) and more.
Ticket information, the full competing athlete roster, event schedule and link to apply for media credentials will be announced at a later date.
